Alchemy Signature Classes

Our Alchemy signature classes are our very own, home-grown classes that cover a wide variety of dance preferences and fitness needs. They’re all dance-fitness format (follow the leader), but they have different fitness goals, vibes, energy, music & dance styles.

Teacher trainings are offered in all these formats. Pre-requisites may apply!

BOLD Power: Lifting for Dancers

BOLD Power is a fun & gritty, power-based dance fitness class that uses weights for a full body, compound workout. It’s choreographed to music, so even though it’ll make you sweat, it’s still a blast! 

We want you to boost your raw strength & power to have more functional strength in your day-to-day life AND in dance. It’s not about burning calories or looking better like most fitness classes (though that’s of course a side-effect of strength training 💪). We want people to feel good, be empowered in a real physiological way, and have less pain & be able to lift heavier as they get stronger.

This class was created by our owner Ashley Patchen and Physical Therapist Emma Stevenson, so you know it’s going to be fun AND good for you!

BOLD Toning: It’s like Barre… with an ATTITUDE!

BOLD Toning is a fun, high energy strength-based dance strengthening class that uses a combination of body weight, resistance bands, and bandanas for a full body dancer's workout. Even though it's a tough workout, we choreograph it to feel like a dance party!

Build endurance and strength in the muscles you use less-often in dance, and retrain them to engage properly when you're dancing rather than relying on your joints & low back to take the impact.

This class was created by our owner Ashley Patchen and Physical Therapist Emma Stevenson, so you know it’s going to be fun AND good for you!

DESIRE: Rediscover your sexy self!

DESIRE is our home-grown dance-cardio class where you get to explore your sassy, sexy side. Get in touch with your sensual, dirrrty, flirty self, build your confidence, rediscover love of your own body and get a great workout! We highly encourage you to wear something that makes you feel good and confident in your body! ❤️

HYPED AF: Dance like no one gives a Sh*t!

HYPED And Fit 😉 is a dance cardio class that's all about creating that dance-party-with-your-friends vibe. You get to reconnect with your silly, sexy & sweaty self, and laugh, make friends, and get wild-n-crazy in this class. 

The vibe is high and the music is a super fun, wide range of amped up party music including current popular stuff (think hip hop, pop, electronic), a mix of hyped up stuff around the world (think dancehall, K-pop or Bollywood), and whatever else gets our booties poppin'. 

REVIVE: Good for the soul, gentle on the body

REVIVE is a dance cardio class that's all about restoring your mind, body and soul. It's a low-impact, "feel good" kind of class with a lot of heart. Each REVIVE instructor has a unique style, but rest assured—you can expect a fun, engaging class that takes you on a soulful journey. AND it's great for your body, so you can dance with ease.

All our classes & instructors are amazing, check out what we have to offer & try everything! These classes are either licensed formats or classes that our teachers have created themselves. We unfortunately do not have teacher licensing for these classes, but they are all AMAZING in their own unique ways!

Belly Dance

Explore moving your body differently with Belly Dance! This will be a great opportunity for those looking to learn a new dance style, and improve overall fitness, confidence and stage presence.

This class will introduce you to a wide variety of traditional and modern techniques with the primary focus on Egyptian Raqs Sharqi. Learn to execute body isolations, undulations, traveling foot patterns, percussive and sharp movements, turns, and of course super fun choreography! It will be a fun and energetic class suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced dancers. Get ready to shimmy and shake together!

Feldenkrais

Would you like to have less pain? Would you like to move and feel better? Come join us for this relaxing but rejuvenating class with slow gentle movement and focused attention. In less than an hour you will go on a journey of self-discovery to find out what's keeping you from having a pain-free body. You'll learn ways to integrate your mind and body to move your body in a way that improves your brain.

GROOV3

GROOV3 is a one hour, high-energy, dance-til-you-drop cardio hip hop/funk class with a mission to inspire change and build communities through the power of dance. Simple combinations accommodate all fitness levels, featuring the hottest DJ mixes. You’ll spend the hour learning a fun mini routine while sweating and getting your GROOV3 on!

NIA

Nia is mind/body physical conditioning program that originally stood for Non-Impact Aerobics. A health and fitness alternative that emerged in the 80's, NIA evolved to include neurological integrative practices and teachings. Alchemy teachers have created their own artistic interpretations of Nia. These classes are perfect if you love music and dance but want something a bit lower impact on your body.

Party Hip Hop

Party Hip Hop is a hip hop choreography class that can pretty much be summed up in one word: FUN! It combines old and new school hip hop (with the teacher's own flare of course) to create a unique and super fun routine that you learn each week. It's the perfect high-energy, low-pressure atmosphere for seasoned dancers and beginners alike, and is designed to take the pressure off so you can have a blast, let loose, and be fabulous!

Power Yoga for Dancers

Power Yoga for Dancers is a dynamic, breath-to-movement class that integrates principles of flexibility and strength-building to support long term mobility. Each class will be different but the general blueprint will be similar—a gentle warm up followed by a dynamic flow sequence, core strengthening, refined peak postures and a soothing, restorative cool down.

This class will be music driven and will target areas of the mind and body that support Alchemy dancer's holistic wellness. Expect to sweat, breathe and move in the spirit of dancing for a lifetime. All levels are welcome!

SoulSweat

Break into ecstatic movement and unbridled soul expression! An exhilarating dance experience, Soul Sweat enhances coordination, increases your dynamic flow of energy, and awakens your creative spirit. Free your self-expression with the wildest barefoot dance workout of your life!

WERQ

Join us for the wildly addictive cardio class, WERQ! WERQ is a fiercely fun dance fitness workout based on pop and hip hop music. Expect to sweat, smile, and burn 500-900 calories each hour!

World Dance Fitness

Dance to beats from around the world! This class includes everything from K-Pop to Belly Dance, Bollywood to Samba and more! This class is a high energy and high intensity dance fitness class—you'll have a blast and burn tons of calories!

Zumba Fitness

Zumba Fitness is a Latin-based dance fitness class where you'll dance to a wide variety of world beats for an hour of a sweaty and fun routines. It takes the "work" out of workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval style, calorie burning dance fitness party.

WildBeat

WildBeat is creative, free-form movement in a non-judgmental, welcoming space. Through rhythm, freedom, and dance, we find connection to ourselves and, if you choose, with each other. Participants are invited to contribute music to the group experience.
